The Davis Dyslexia Correction Programme attends to the root cause of the learning challenges, by giving the person strategies to be able to become and remain focused. The individual is also given strategies to control feelings of stress or anxiety and have control of their energy levels.
The programme then addresses the learning goals of the individual, which may be related to reading, writing, letter confusions, spelling, listening, comprehension, co-ordination or focus. A visual, meaning-based, hands-on approach is used. It is called Davis Symbol Mastery™ and uses clay, enabling the individual to use their natural strengths and talents to learn.
